My Current Nighttime Skin Care Routine (2016)

Last time, I shared my Daytime Skin Care Routine. For this post, I will be sharing my nighttime skin care routine as well as the products I use for each step. I make sure to do all these steps before I sleep at night. Consistency is key in skin care, so if we want to achieve best results, we’ve got to be consistent and maintain the routine that works for us. 😉

  1. Makeup Remover
  • I use baby oil to remove waterproof makeup (eye and lip) and just wash my face with gentle soap and water to remove the makeup from the rest of my face.

  1. Cleanser

Foam Cleanser ( Etude House Every Month Cleansing Foam – 7 Aloe )

Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser

Eskinol Pimple-Fighting Facial Deep Cleanser

  • Foam, gentle and deep cleansers fall under this category. I use three cleansers during the night. (1. Foam cleanser 2. Gentle Facial Cleanser 3. Anti-Acne Deep Cleanser) – see my review of my cleansers here

  1. Exfoliator

Nature Republic By Flower Lip Scrub and Skinfood Black Sugar Mask Wash-Off

  • I use a black sugar wash-off mask/scrub for my face and lip scrub for my lips. (once a week)
  • see my review of the Skinfood Black Sugar Scrub here

  1. Toner/Refresher

Celeteque Alcohol-Free Toner

  • I personally use a basic alcohol-free toner with watery consistency.

Maxipeel Exfoliant #3 (for pimples)

Skinmate Shark Oil (for dark spots, scars and marks)

*I do spot treatment after applying toner.

Etude House AC Clinic Daily Gel Lotion

*I also use a gel lotion (anti-acne) for my skin issues.

  1. Essence

3W Clinic Collagen and Luxury Gold Essence

  • I use mine every other day.

  1. Ampoule/Serum

Isa Knox Astin C Ideal Ringer

  • I use mine every other day.

  1. Sheet Mask/Mask/Pack

Sheet Masks

Piolang 24K Gold Wrapping Mask (peel-off)

Daiso Charcoal Pack (for nose)

  • I do this step once a week.

  1. Moisturizer

Nature Republic Green Tea Emulsion

  • I use a thicker moisturizer (emulsion) at night.

  1. Eye Cream

Skinhouse Wrinkle Eye Cream (transferred to cosmetic container)

  • I use a thicker eye cream at night. (with lifting/firming/anti-aging properties)

  1. Night Cream/Day Cream/SPF
  • I personally prefer using night oils instead of night cream because they are thinner in consistency and do not feel thick on the face once applied.

Other Steps:

-Soothing Gel (The Face Shop – aloe) before essence

-Lip Balm/Lip Treatment (Nivea) last step
